Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education is a Board of education in Andhra Pradesh, India. Board of Intermediate Education offers General stream Groups and Vocational stream Groups. General stream groups include Science, Humanities and Commerce groups to educate and train students in Theory and Practicals to choose and pursue higher studies at graduate level in both Professional and general courses.Vocational Groups are basically meant to educate and train students in skills related to the branch they choose to get immediate self employment or if interested, to pursue higher education related to their branch of study.
Every student in this Board is instructed to study in subjects, get practical training , besides working towards environmental improvement and learning ethics and moral values for becoming a responsible, committed, patriotic citizen of our country. This is aimed to make them as our Nation's Potential Human Resource.

Intermediate Public Examinations in AndhraPradesh are conducted in very systematic and strict method to assess the ability and efficiency of a student's knowledge in different subjects.These examinations include three different phases.
1. Social and Environmental responsibility with Moral values related examinations to every Intermediate student. These are compulsory tests along with project works to every student to get qualified to receive Intermediate results.They are
2. Practical Examinations for Science Group students and Vocational students.
3. 'Theory Examinations for all students in their related subjects.
The Board of Intermediate Examination Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) conducts the Intermediate examination for 1st and 2nd year in March, annually. Each year, more than 10 lakh students appear for both AP Inter Junior and Senior Exam.
Results
The Board of Intermediate Examination Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) announces the Andhra Inter Results each April. The 2017 examination results were announced on 13 April. The Board of Intermediate Examination Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) declare the Intermediate exam results in April this year.[clarification needed] For both Andhra Pradesh first year and second year results date of Intermediate Examination confirmed.[1]

Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. It was established in 1953 and functions as an autonomous body under the Andhra Pradesh's Department of Education.[1]
The board regulates and supervises the system of Secondary education in Andhra Pradesh State. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting recognitions to schools and, providing direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction.

Established in 1953 to supervise and regulate various schools established before the board. The Board was located at Chapel Road opposite to Stanley Girls High School. Now it is located in Vijayawada.

AP Intermediate Grading Points GPA for the 1st year Intermediate of the academic year 2017-18. The Andhra Pradesh government has given official orders on Tuesday (December 5) on the implementation of Ranks (Grade) policy in the first year of Intermediate. The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to reduce the pressure on children in the backdrop of student suicides.
This grading point (GPA) system applies to the students who are pursuing now. This GPA applies to the students who are going to appear for the examinations from February 28. Subject-wise Grade points will appear in the place of marks in the memo (certificate).
Even sciences group students will also come under grading points. These grade points will be given on the marks scored by the students on the basis 100 marks scale.
The BIEAP has already announced the AP Intermediate Public Examination dates March 2019. This year the board examinations conducting in February and March months. AP Inter first year examinations are scheduled to be held from 27th February to 17th March. AP Intermediate second year examinations are scheduled to be held between 1st March to 19th March.

In the first year of Intermediate, the GPA for the students who have scored 35% marks in all subjects and 30% marks in one subjects is as follows
For 30 – 34 marks, Grade is D2 and grade point is 3.0
For 00 – 29 marks, grade is F and GPA is fail
25 percent of marks declared as the pass percentage for the deaf, dumb and hearing impaired students. The GPA is as below
For 25 – 34 marks, Grade is E and grade point is 2.5
For 00 – 24 marks, the grade is F and GPA is fail.
